You should know what brazil is

A continental country facing the Atlantic Ocean with a diverse culture based on a European heritage influenced by indigenous and African cultures. This tropical coexistence has created a different people, unique in the world!

These people are coming into their own in the 21st century when they realize that all the knowledge they need for their growth and survival is in their roots.

In his book “Futuro Ancestral” (Ancestral Future), Aílton Krenak, a Brazilian environmentalist, philosopher and write from the Krenak indigenous group, gives some pointers: “The corporization of life has taken away the individuality of diverse cultures and the creativity of individuals.

Choosing global solutions for a single country with a regionally differentiated population is an outdated option, on a par with those who still believe in globalization as an economic option or deny the planet’s climate crisis!

Another lie in the propaganda of the global business network is local knowledge! No one can believe that the procedures, deadlines and prices of Santos – Brazil’s largest port – are valid for other ports in the country.
These are 7 biomes in Brazil that account for 20% of all biodiversity on the planet
48,000 km of navigable rivers
Almost 8,500 km of coastline
Over 270 races live here
250 languages
Over 15 regional variations of the Portuguese language
22 states/provinces
380 port terminals
Hundreds of units from the Navy, Federal Maritime Police, Migration, Customs, Health Inspection and other agencies.

why choose seven as your partner in brazil?

We are natives!

Brazil occupies almost half of South America: the distance between the port of Santana and the port of Rio Grande is more than 4,800 km or 3,235 nautical miles! We know that in order to operate uniformly in a continental country like Brazil, it is necessary to know the routes and have a standardized logistics network that can operate simultaneously in any port.

We are diverse!

The complexity of Brazilian culture, resulting from the mixture of many races, requires us to be able to adapt in order to negotiate with local authorities and suppliers. The same word said in a port in the northeast has another meaning in a port in the south of the country. We know the sound of the Brazilian words, we know that push means pull!

We are reliable!

Our European monarchical tradition has created a complex country, with an entrenched bureaucracy that our people struggle daily to eliminate and modernize, but which still insists on creating problems in order to sell solutions. We know how to simplify the daily lives of those who arrive at our ports, trust us!

We are united!

All religions live here, from Catholic saints to pagan saints, Buddhist, Taoist, Zen, Hindu, Cadomblé, Umbanda and many other Afro-Brazilian cults, Ayahuasca tea cults and other types of shamanism. Here in Brazil, synagogues coexist in harmony with mosques. We know how to see beyond!

We are Macunaíma!

We operate in more than 50 ports in Brazil and we know that each one is different and needs to be treated and serviced differently. Sorry, but you can’t learn this sitting in an office in Houston, London, Stockholm, Athens, Dubai, Shanghai or Singapore! Nor can the procedures and prices of the Port of Santos be used in other Brazilian ports! We know how to learn from everyone! Like Macunaíma, the hero of Mário de Andrade’s book of the same name, we are anthropophagous and have assimilated the knowledge of the local ports in order to treat your vessel differently in each port of Brazil.

We are poetrys!

The word saudade is an invention of the Portuguese language, and although there are words that refer to absence and melancholy, there is no specific word in other languages that expresses the feeling of saudade. Perhaps this is why Brazilian poetry, samba and Bossa Nova are so successful all over the world: only art can explain the inexplicable. That’s Brazil!

We are Bossa Nova!

Brazil is also capable of creating original musical genres such as samba, frevo and maracatu, and its Carnival parade of Samba Schools is the largest open-air spectacle in the world. At the end of the 1950s, a group of Rio artists deconstructed samba and created Bossa Nova, influenced by all races and American jazz. Today it is part of the playlists of the most sophisticated and tasteful people on the planet. The kind of people who can’t get out of tune and know what they’re doing!

MIGRATION & CREW CHANGE

We understand that seafarers need to be treated and respected differently, and we don’t need another global company making empty speeches about ethics or ESG. We know our country and we don’t need marketing!
We truly want to recognize the value of the profession and treat people without xenophobia, regardless of their nationality - after all, we are Brazilian, a country of many races!
At the same time, we know how to provide the management team with the efficiency, service and responsiveness that a long-distance operation requires.
We offer the best technology and know how to find the best local price for transportation, accommodation, food and medical care because we are local.
We also have in-depth knowledge of Brazilian Migration Law and are at your disposal to issue LOI’s (Letter of Invitation) or Visas for your crew members, as well as being ready to defend you against migration fines received in our ports.
Choose Seven to handle your crew change. We know how to take care of your crew like no one else here in Brazil.

Port Agency

A local agency providing local services to global customers!
Our 24x7 operations are supported by our intimate knowledge of the local supply chain and excellent relationships with port authorities.
We don’t have thousands of employees all over the world, but we know when is the best time to hunt Guaiamum in the mangroves around Suape and Recife ports and then have a dinner party and invite those who need to be invited.
We serve all types of vessels and sectors, from container, bulk carriers, ro-ro and tankers to cruise ships and all types of cargo, from grain, sugar, pulp, fertilizer, cement, steel, minerals to crude oil, ethanol and chemicals.
• We can act as your Full Port Agency,
• or be your Protective Agency,
• your Bunker Agency,
• or provide Husbandry Services on your port call.

We offer all standard ship agency services, customs clearance, cargo handling, port captain services and a wide range of complementary services such as spare parts, hold and underwater hull cleaning and much more.

Security

We plan and implement various security protocols that are applied to achieve what we define as “Zero Mark” contamination of the vessel.
We take into account the type of vessel (container, bulk, ro-ro, or cruise), the port and berthing period, and the vessel’s itinerary.
We use
• CCTV surveillance
• Deck Consultant/Security
• Monitoring by boat
• K9 inspection
• UW or R.O.V. inspection
• Drone Surveillance

We do all the clearance for access of people and equipment on board, and your Operations Team has all the anti-drug security control centralized, without the need to hire and manage the logistics of multiple vendors.
In addition, we can provide drug testing for your crew and security escorts for your vessel.

Marine Services

Another type of global contract that doesn’t work in Brazil.
What’s the point of signing a global contract with a food and beverage supplier who doesn’t know that manioc, yuca and macaxeira are the same thing?
Count on us from sourcing to delivery coordination! We will manage the entire process for you, working with local suppliers and producers to ensure the quality of on-board consumption of potable water, food supplies (dry, produce, frozen and refrigerated), personal hygiene products, administrative supplies, machinery parts and accessories, nautical charts and publications, service supplies and personal protective equipment.
We also offer all the assistance you need to find the ideal supplier to assist your vessel’s engineers with the machinery services required for your Brazilian port call.
And our Surveys & Inspections team has the expertise to manage and contract with the best
suppliers in Brazil, in full compliance with our anti- bribery policy.

Information

We work with the truth!
Based on this premise, it doesn’t matter what price you pay for mooring in a port in India, or the cost of fruits and vegetables in Bangladesh, when it comes to guaranteeing the execution of services in more than 380 Brazilian ports.
In addition, defining the prices of the Port of Santos as national prices for Brazil is another fallacy that only global contracts have room for!
Count on our team of Brazilians to provide you with information you can trust and use.
Based on our transparency, we bring the security and reliability of local and true information in the form of line-ups, manuals, recommendations and instructions, COFs and laytimes.
